With ITSM4Outlook, adding information to the work log has never been so easy and straightforward.
In the following example, the user receives an email with more information about a specific ticket. First of all, you can open the ticket by doing a right-click on the email and select the request ID.
To attach the email as work information, you just have to do a drag & drop of the email into the work log. A dialogue window will appear enabling to further categorize and edit the information to be added. Once validated, the email will appear in the work log.
ITSM4Outlook enables you to attach any other types of documents and information, either by drag & drop or copy & paste. You can also directly paste texts into the work log. To do so, select the text to be added, use the shortcut “control C” on your keyboard to copy it, then select the work log and press “control V”. This feature also works with screenshots. You can copy your screen (or part of it using the snipping tool, as shown in this video) and paste it into the work log.
It has to be highlighted that ITSM4Outlook gives you the possibility to rename on the fly any files that you will add as work information.
